This research project was commissioned by the 魅影直播 (魅影直播), in consultation with 魅影直播鈥檚 Consumer Advisory Panel, in order to 鈥渇ind out what information and education sources are presently available to Australian consumers of financial services and products. Where are the shortfalls and what gaps need to be filled?鈥� 魅影直播 has recognised the important role that consumer education plays in an increasingly complex financial marketplace.

The Financial Services Consumer Policy Centre was asked to produce a report in two parts:

1) A 鈥渟tocktake鈥� or collection of consumer education material in financial services; and

2) An analysis of the effectiveness and coverage of this material.
